Top Gun (Blu-ray)

I left a long winded, review on the HDDVD. It's one of those staple dvd's (bluray) you must have. It's the movie alot of people associate with surround sound, atleast for the last decade, and these new formats make it more fun to watch. It is what it is, it entertains, not educates or stimulates deep thought. Sometimes reviewers can get a little high on their own supply (haughty) and miss the point of the movie. Not every action movie can be The Bourne Identity.

Well, I'm personally glad it isn't, because in my humble opinion, the 'Bourne' films are sub par entertainment films, some of the more overrated movies I've seen in years.

Top Gun is good, relatively mindless fun. One of the more quotable movies out there.
