In the arena of modern epics, they don't get much better than Braveheart.
Great performances, beatuiful scenery and cinematography, not to mention enough gut-wrenching battles to keep your testosterone fix in check all go into Gibson's amazing sophomore effort.
This one is definitely more for the guys, but I know those ladies don't mind seeing ole' Mel running around in his skirt.
A great film that touches on the universal truth all men respect: a singular and true love is worth fighting for. Braveheart shows us the great sacrifices that have been made for all who bask in the glow of freedom.
Freedom, indeed.
