The license is actually owned by Buena Vista. This holds true for "The Royal Tenenbaums", too. In fact, Buena Vista does publicity for these titles, not Criterion.

But still, if Rushmore was "released by Criterion (as said on the side of the Details), this should say "Released by Criterion".

Why does this have to say "released by Criterion" just because another DVD says "released by Criterion"? This movie and "The Royal Tenenbaums" are much cheaper than other DVDs labeled with the Criterion banner for a reason--Buena Vista is in complete control over how this title is sold.
