Perhaps you should mention that this isn't the unrated version found on DVD. That's a huge hit against the Blu-Ray release of this film. It's not contained on the single disc release OR the Die Hard collection release. It's a shame too, it doesn't make the film any better, but it does make it slightly more organic with the rest of the series.

I do mention that this is the R-rated version in my "bottom line," but I'll mention it earlier too, in case people don't read the whole review.
I thought it interesting, too, that this was the version that's released. Apparently the director and Willis are behind it, or I'm guessing they might have balked at doing the commentary.

Please note, this version is rated PGᆡ, not R.

It's PG13. Sorry about that, the dash seemed to have gotten confused with html code when I posted that last comment.

That was confusing me as well. I was beginning to think there were different version between the single and box set. So all blu-ray versions are PG13, correct?

Sorry if I've been unclear. The first three films are R-rated, and the fourth film is PGᆡ on this set and on the other Blu-ray, rather than the unrated version that some fans prefer.

Oops. Make that PG13. Don't know why our board accepts R-rated but not PGᆡ.

One of THE most disappointing things in the Blu-Ray version for me was the re-edit of Willis's talks with Warlock. In the DVD version he refers to him as "Ham hock, Warlock, whatever...", and the scene is pretty funny. It also continues later on with the discussion on the CB radio. The Blu-Ray version suddenly referres to Warlock as dump truck...what was up with that?
If I could I would love to return my DVD on that basis alone.
Is that because of the PG13 rating? What was wrong with Ham hock?
Perplexed
