Downfall

I urge everyone to see this movie this week. Yes as the review said, it long. And yes it???s not a grab the popcorn and cuddle type movie. It offers a solid interpretation of the events, mood and actions of the Germans at the end of WW2. It is thought provoking and historically one of the best WW2 movies for a portrait of the Third Reich. See it, discuss it, and you can get a really good picture of the time and events. It deals with a tough subject and is not acceptable for kids. It also doesn???t leave you with happy feelings but this kind of film isn???t supposed to.

I saw this film a couple days ago and I have to say it was freaking excellent! It's easily one of the best films of 2004 and I highly recommend it. ;)

hey could you please check your DVD if at around the 1:28:00 mark, you get an audio glitch on the German 5.1 track, after The Fuhrer goes back into his room, when all the generals are yelling, there's like a moment where you see his lips moving and no words are coming out of the speakers..it's very brief, a matter of a word or two.
