More like a double dipper, than a must replace if you already own the 60º Anniversay Edition. The restoration of the film may give the impresion of being slightly better than the one in the 60º Anniversary Edition, but still isn't the excelent quality one was hoping for both Editions do offer a crisp and sharp image, but both give grainy image in some scenes, both offer detail vivid, and bright colors... but too bright in the case of the Big Top Edition, where in some scenes colors tend to look flourescent. The Dolby Digital 5.1 continues to sound like very narrow stereo/expanded mono, just like in the 60º Anniversay Edition.

As for extras in the Big Top Edition, you get exactly the same stuff from the 60º Anniversary Edition... the commentary track with animation historian John Canemaker, the two animated short subjects, "Elmer Elephant" and "The Flying Mouse", Uncle Walt's original TV introduction to the film, the Sing-Alongs of "Look Out for Mr. Stork" and "Casey Junior", the gallery of "Dumbo" artwork, the fifteen-minute documentary on the film "Celebrating Dumbo," hosted by Leonard Maltin, featuring various film critics, film historians, and Disney filmmakers, and the DVD Storybook: "Dumbo's Big Discovery," that children can read for themselves or have read to them...

The only difference is that the music video "Baby Mine," performed by Michael Crawford in the 60º Anniversary Edition, is replaced for one performed by Jim Brickman and Kassie DePaiva in the Big Top Edition. And the only thing new in the Big Top Edition, is a DisneyPedia feature called "My First Circus," a game of identifying and learning about various circus animals... in any case if you already own the 60º Anniversary Edition, there's really no point in getting the Big Top Edition.
