I liked it, it was a fun movie. Even if it does suck

Had the director actually bothered to pick up a "comic book" that he references in his source, he would have seen that Batman isn't all that cartoonish. Anything post-1981 has been gritty, noir, and torn with angst.
Nice review, John. Now let's forget this movie ever existed.

I liked this movie when it came out, but I was in Middle School then and very easy to please. I watched it a year or two ago and didn't enjoy it at all, but I'd still rather watch it than The Punisher or the Fantastic 4.

It's still better than "Batman Forever." At least "Batman and Robin" is so bad, it's funny. "Batman Forever" is so bad, it just makes you cry or, more accurately, fall asleep.
There's a reason he's known as Joel Shitmaker...

like i wrote in reader comments for "batman begins", "batman forever" and "batman & robin" were dress-rehearsals for "phantom of the opera".

Atleast in the special features the director admits to the movie being horrible, but personally i liked Batman Forever alot more than this crap.I thought Carrey and Jones did a great job as the Riddler and Two Face.

The only things I like about the movie are:
- Mr. Freeze costume. It looks awesome.
-Uma Thurman looks great as well in the different Poison Ivy's outfits.
- The F/X
the rest is just trash.
