I am embarassed to admit this, but I am one of those people who have hard time figuring out large chunks of any given movie. So, I have a question. The book with a poem that the kid finds in the house is an important plot point. But I don??t get who made the book? Was it Dale, and if so why is the handwriting so childish?

Sahsa,
I hate to admit that while watching the picture, I didn't care about the book in question; and now that I've seen the picture, I can't even remember it. Nor would I want to go back and watch the movie over again to find out.
So much for the reviewer being any help. Oh, well....

Thanks, John. I wouldn??t go back to that movie either, unless I got paid too. And that would have to be a very, very sweet deal.
I only thought about the question because my girlfriend brought it up. It annoys her that I spend 12 hours a week watching movie. So she takes preverse pleasure in finding details that do not hold up. This bugs me to no end. And I am marrying this woman.

Well, first, congratulations, Sasha!
Second, be very, very thankful you're marrying someone who shares at least in part, and perverse or not, your interest in film. That she was able to come up with such a good question shows much promise.
Twelve hours a week? Say, maybe she has a point there.
