Is it really only 1 minute longer than the original release. I kinda figured we would be seeing this one in an unrated format.

For the moment, at least, Fox's official press site lists the Unrated edition at exactly the same timing as the PG-13 rated edtiion--92 minutes. It may be their mistake, or it may be that things were cut from the original edition to make room for new material.

Or it could be exactly the same movie. Who knows.

Who really cares, anyway? Ben Stiller is ridiculously overrated as an actor (if you can call him that). He only plays one of two characters, regardless of the movie he's in: The nice guy putz (Duplex, Something About Mary), or the ignorant, arrogant jerk (Dodgeball, Zoolander). He is basically a one trick pony, & the attention his films get is baffling. With parents as talented as his, you would think he might show some depth & dimension, but, sadly, we have yet to see either.

Ok . . . that was a nice anti-Ben Stiller rant. I really can't say he's any better or worse than most comedic actors out there and I cetainly do not have any distaste for his performances. To me, he just your average Joe comedy actor, so there really is little to complain about. Kind of reminds me of the old saying, "If it isn't broken, don't fix it!"

I was wondering, John, if you could just take the original release and the new unrated release and play each one chapter by chapter. As your doing this, compare what differences there are then give us all a full report. Thanks.

I'd be glad to, Tim. In fact, I think I'm going to make that my new summer project. Shouldn't take more than a week if I work at it full time. Come on over; we'll have some fun with it.
