Foot Fist Way, The (DVD)

This wasn't a script the Will Ferrel rejected. This movie was filmed completely independently, made it into a couple of film festivals, and the tape started to make the rounds in the Hollywood comedy circuit. It became such a quotable hit in this group that they pulled Danny McBride into some of their other film work and decided to release the Foot Fist Way themselves. They hoped to achieve moderate success with it by promoting the film through their own word-of-mouth campaign. Obviously that didn't work for its theatrical run, but you can expect this film to find enough favor with the DVD crowd. It gained a decent following during its run at the Alamo Drafthouse here in Austin.
