When is season 8 coming out!?

i don't think that it has been announced yet, though they are ready to release the series finale (and the very first episode) on a stand-alone dvd right after it airs!

I think Friends is highly overated. Season 7 is a big let down. There is no story per say. Monica and Chandler's wedding almost sucks up the whole season. If they run out of jokes, Ross is made the laughing stock. Phebe sucks and I still don't understand her character well. The only redeeming feature is Chandler's performance and too some extent Rachel. Others make me feel how such grown ups can have poor IQs. Maybe there are and that is why we have Friends. I have watched all the seasons and jokes and patterns are repeated in all the seasons. I am glad it is finally ended. Having said all this, I feel it is still a good series but few ocassional bad patches. Can't wait for Season 8

you think that the show is overrated but are still watching it on dvd???

Thats a very good question Eddie!! My wife likes the show. Infact it is her favorite show. I just go with the flow.. Like I said this series has its moments but I feel snail pace of the story is bit put off. Also most of the jokes are sex centered. Not that it is a bad thing but it makes show dull sometimes.. I feel season 3,4, and 5 are best .. it is my guilty pleasure.. I rant but I still watch it.. ..
