Keep the train shot on the bottom of the cover. It's more atmospheric and keeps in tone with the movie. The current image implies an action movie. Since the bright red banner distinguishes this release from the current release, there's no need to change the bottom image, IMO. However, a cover won't sway my decision to purchase a movie that I highly enjoy.

This is such a great film. I saw it in Laughlin, NV with a lady friend and a pint of vodka - Wow! It???s too bad the DVD folks couldn???t have included some of the real life 1997 North Hollywood, CA BofA shoot out video clips in one of its extras for added punch, as it was rumored that ???Heat??? was watched by the two crazed gunmen who pulled off that bizarre and bloody fiasco.

I was deeply dissapointed by the video quality on this DVD, it really kept me from becoming as engrosed in the movie as I would have liked to be.

Still, a very neat movie, even if it (gasp) runs a little long.

See? It's not that I hate long movies. Rather, I just don't like movies that don't justify their lengths.

To me, "Heat" does, though to John and Justin, it doesn't. :p

I also think John Voight was completely miscast. He even says himself, in the extras, that he didn't think he was right for the part but Mann talked him into taking the role. A small part of the movie that I thought could have been a lot better.
