Legend of the Black Scorpion (DVD)

Nice review Erik, can you please confirm that you've watched a DVD in 2.35:1 anamorphic aspect ratio ?
The reason I ask, is that the UK DVD says 2.35:1 anamorphic on the box, but it's only 1.77:1, apart from the main title shot. And it's funny how all the frame grabs I see are in 1.77:1.
So is there really a 2.35:1 widescreen version out there, or are they all just 1.77:1 ?

just get one of the dvd editions from hong kong. they're usually region free and have english subtitles for the movie and all of the extras.

So do you have one of the editions from Hong Kong, then Poster 5 ? If so, please tell me what the screen ratio is. Otherwise you're not really helping me with my original question.

yes, this movie is supposed to be 2.35:1. i had one of the two-disc special editions released by media asia in hong kong.
