Wonderful outlook on this film James. I too enjoyed this movie quite a lot compared to many action films of today. Your right about that feeling of not wanting it to end and I even enjoy the subtle comedy of the two of them packing that damn plant around wherever they went.

I don't entirely understand why they had to put out the International version and the Deluxe edition separately. oh wait, yes I do. Money.
But seriously, why couldn't the Deluxe edition be complete enough to include the cut scenes?

What are you talking about? This IS the International edition.

Because this "deluxe edition" plays out at roughly the same amount of minutes as the International version or virtual director's cut, unless you can think of a specific moment in the film where something has been cut, my guess is that they're relatively close to the same version. This edition most certainly is not the one first shown or released in the U.S. on DVD.

I'm not quite sure why, but it harkens back to final fantasy 9, the video game, for me. Wierd I know, but I get that kinda vibe in the nuances of Mathilda and the wonderful soundtrack.

Gary Oldman is the epitamy of awesome acting.

Why doesn't everyone buy this version because it is the same as the "uncut international version" as well as the superbit it also has more extras and is cheaper anywhere you look to buy it.
