I dunno if you've ever heard of this, but some people are actually livid at Professor Higgins for his final line, describing him as an unrepentant misogynist.
Personally, I think that he's just a pompous ass who almost got what he deserved. I think that the line makes sense because 1) it fits his character, 2) the characters both acknowledge each other's natures, and 3) Eliza has come to love that part of him, too.
