"Most of the people who saw this movie and thought it was great have probably never heard of "Citizen Kane" and are probably hypnotized by playing video games, making them look forward to a 'Resident Evil 3'."
Well since the "Resident Evil" movies are based upon the Capcom video game series of the same name, if one played video games (much less were hypnotized by them) they'd probably think that this movie was bad. It seems like it's some sort of a filmmaking scientific law (talk about an oxymoron ;) ) that all movies based on video game properties need to: a) be bad, and b) other than characters, have little to do with the source material (or source code, I guess? Heh! I kill me

).
However, I have heard that the "Resident Evil" movies, while being mediocre, are decent when compared to other movies based on games. Which isn't saying much.
