Hello all! It's TGP---------->
Well, I've been trying to branch out lately and experience some foreign films since I haven't seen too many. Kurosawa is said by EVERYONE to be one of the best foreign directors, so I saw Seven Samurai and LOVED it. So, I'm going to buy some Kurosawa films for my foreign film library (which only includes Das Boot, Run Lola Run, Crouching Tiger and a couple others). Most or all of Kurosawa's films are on Criterion, and I couldn't even think of buying more than about 5. So my question to you is, what would you all consider to be the top 5 Kurosawa films? I'd love to have the input of the staff and users of this site alike. Thank you!

P.S. While we're on the subject, you could also give me some suggestions as to the best foreign films of any kind. Thanx again!
