This was a great movie. Wonder what the 'uncorked' will add. Hopefully more than one of those cheap renditions with 60 seconds more footage, like Scary Movie 3.'5' and Dodgeball.

I enjoyed this one as well.

The "uncorked" edition also includes the theatrical cut if anyone was wondering.

I thought the movie was pretty funny, however, it was way too long. Vince Vaughn is a bit of a one-trick pony, but is a really good trick. It was kind of neat to see the nerdy reporter friend of Sydney Bristow (Alias) morph into the crazed, obnoxious boyfriend in this movie.

I watched the extended version and have no idea what scenes were additional - never saw it in theatrical. I really liked what I saw though.

It's much better than most Hollywood comedies, romantic-comedies. I thought it was well paced and well-structured. Overall, the film was funny while also pretty effectively telling a story. The only thing I had a complaint with was the wedding collage near the beginning, which was over-long. Funny, but too long.

It also seemed to some to capture to some that old school feel of the better screwball comedies with it's oddball family.

At first I was wondering what I was getting into with this film. As Goatboy pointed out, the wedding collage dragged on and I got the feeling I was headed into something more silly than funny. However, the film does very well establishing itself through the second half and turns out to be one of the best comedies this year. It even tends to have a good sentimental value with an unforgiving theme that manages to stay true to its form all the way to the end. And having Christopher Walken is always a welcome added bonus as he is one of those guys that make me laugh even when he's playing a serious role.

I would certainly recommend this film as a worthy buy for any DVD collection. There are some really great laugh-out-loud moments mixed with some warm clich??d scenes that are more than welcome because they tend to work in this movie. Much of the dialog was relentless as Wilson and Vaughn battle for screen supremacy, but, however, that's what makes this film work so well as it is a good combination of casting.

8/10

Yes, this is the only Hollywood comedy of the last year I would recommend (though I'm sure I didn't seem them all). And Christopher Walken ... I'm at the point now where just seeing him gets me laughing. No one delivers a dry line better. I still pee my pants when I see him in Mouse Hunt.
