Friends: The Complete 5th Season [Special Edition]

this is one of your reviews that I love so much and agree with all but one paragraphs. Now, tell me again why is it that you detest character of Kudrow? Sure, she is unrealistic, deffinitely weird. But then, again, this should not be surprising. I mean, look at the woman. Her life was so screwed up that it is a wonder that she stayed sane.

The other characters have had messed-up lives, too, but they're not oblivious to reality in the way that Phoebe is. It's not really the actress's fault, of course, but the writers'. If anything, given how horrible Phoebe's life events were, maybe the character would've been better off in a drama rather than a comedy.

If Phoebe were put in a drama, nobody would take it seriously. She is my No.2 favourite, following the dumb Joey. Nothing like Phoebe and Joey duet to make one laugh out loud in the end of a bad day.
