Hannibal [Special Edition]

I have to admit that at first I didn't really like Hannibal. However, after watching it a few more times it has grown on me and I actually like it, but I still like Red Dragon and Silence of the Lambs more.

This one is my favorite movie.

In fact, I don't how come I find in lots of reviews on the Net that the movie is awful since I've experienced myself how come I've seen this movie with so many different people (even people that don't like horror/blood/gore) and they've all liked it.

Plus, people keep on thinking of all the Hannibal movies as a "trilogy" when they're not. I mean, they do share the same characters/universe but they don't connect to each other like a single narrative.

Besides, these movies (as the books), all fall into a different genre: Red Dragon is a detective story, Silence of the Lambs is suspense/thriller, while Hannibal falls into horror.

If people would open more their minds and see each one as an independent movie, forgetting the comparisons... they would like this one.

And in the end, if they had made Hannibal like Silence of the Lambs, then the criticisms would have been: "more of the same".

Most critics didn't like Hannibal because most crtics are mean and grumpy. ;)

This one has now become my favorite of the Hannibal films.
