So are these reviews solely individual reviews reflecting your own personal experience, rather than a review of the movie and it's qualities overall? I'm not saying this to criticize but just for clarity about what I'm reading. I watched this movie and agree with many of the points made, but had no trouble adjusting to the 3-D glasses. Should the overall video rating deserve such a poor review to your own personal struggle with positioning the 3-D glasses? If I am wrong and the video review is low due specifically to your opinion of the quality of the 1080p transfer than I completely understand. Obviously, I really enjoy reading these reviews and the insight that all the reviewers provide. That's the only reason I express concern, because I base a lot of my decisions on what blu-ray's to rent upon reading these reviews. Thanks.

I have no idea what your first sentence means, but, going on, it appears you mainly take issue with my assessment of the disc's video quality.

I did not find the Blu-ray's 3-D color at all convincing. It's as simple as that. If the filmmakers could have gotten the colors right, I might have been happier. I review what I see. I usually don't try to guess if any imperfections in what I see are the fault of the original print or the fault of the transfer. It's the final result that counts, and that's what I evaluate.

all reviews are subjective. there is no such thing as an "objective" review.

Tek,

No matter what site you visit, you're going to get a personal assessment of a film as seen and evaluated by the film critic. It's impossible to do anything else. I personally would have given this film a 7 out of 10 because it's family-friendly and a fun popcorn movie, which is all it set out to be. But John can't write from my perspective, and I can't write from his. The thing to do is read a review, figure out where someone is coming from, and know whether you'll like it anyway.
