finally.

i no right, took a while

It is about time...I've been waiting for this one. Yet, and I'm not complaining, this is soo much more than I expected. Scott, seems to be a big fan of 3 disc collections, i.e. Black Hawk Down and Gladiator. This 4 disc set, seems more along the lines of a Lord of the Rings Extended version. The film, despite exploding in Europe, did meager box office here in the States. It did better on DVD, so maybe that's why we got this. It just seems so built up, more so than I expected, a better collection than I expected I suppose. Next, the classic question----Anyone have any idea what the cover art is gonna be?

Fox has not yet posted the cover art at their press site.

Oh great, I knew I'd end up regretting buying the first release. I swear, I'm going to stop buying DVDs as a whole one day! Ugh!!

Anyway, since this is a "DC" I really hope it's all that and a bad of chips... Even if I don't buy it.

Argh! I wish there was a site, where you could like add whatever movies you want, and when they are released they can email you, and say, "now you can buy this version, or you can wait 5 months and get the better one!!!" or something, damn im so sick of buying movies twice,

Awesome cover art. It's simple and the blue coloring gives it a nice ethereal quality, which matches how I felt while watching the movie. Can't wait for this one... the theatrical release was missing huge chunks of character development

and for those who didnt see the double dip coming... give me a break. the first thing i said when it was over was on the lines of, "i liked it but there was an hour missing". And that barebones dvd came out so quickly, plus a Ridely Scott film... hello. you just need to be a little more apt about the obvious SE that will follow the first release after a few months. especially on one like this... it just begs for that big dvd.

what anphunk wrote applies to the entire industry now. don't act surprised when there are double dips. all the majors do it, and many of the smaller outfits are re-releasing dvds, too.

The new cover is far superior to the old one.

i so can't wait till this comes out, i am very excited, it took long enough and hopefully i can wait for this wait, because in the end, i no it's so going to be worth watching

I have been so lucky, I have not bought most of the dvds that are being rereleased in better forms i.e. Kingdom of Heaven, Matrix trilogy, sin city, alien (all of em), it goes on and on.

I can not wait for this I have been told that it would be an amazing film if this footage was put back in. I in fact have not seen this yet, in its theatrical form. But have preordered this and can not wait. I am so excited to see another great Ridley Scott film!
