Hasn't everyone seen it before? (Oh, sorry; I forget we have a younger audience, too.)

I thought you said you will watch it again. Or maybe you watched it some 30 years ago. BTW I am not that young

Ranjan,

It probably has been thirty years since I've seen it. But I said "again" because who's counting? My reference to a "younger audience" was not necessarily meant to include you. Your appreciation for older movies has always led me to believe you were either older or quite mature for your years.

Incidentally, I met many, many young people, teens, in my film classes over the years who loved old movies, so I shouldn't get down on youngsters for not liking the oldies, either.

I know John what you meant about the younger audience. Yes you are right that I really like old B/W movies. The thing that attracts me most about these these movies (not all) is the acting, they are original and I look for photography composition which I find most intersting in these movies. I just love the whole b/w look..

Well I am quite mature for my years!

PS:BTW what will be your rating for Call Northside 777?

Maybe a 7. Or a 77. Or a 777. I remembere liking it at the time, years ago, but who knows? When I watch it this afternoon, it might bore me to tears.

Ranjan,

Did John ever tell you that I sometimes watch color movies in black-and-white? I just set my LCD TV on "monochrome". Black-and-white photography is BEAUTIFUL.

John,

If it's any consolation, I think that you're quite immature for your age.

Now there's the nicest thing anybody's said to me in a long time.
