So, I should keep this one off my Christmas list?

Never. You're a Sean Connery fan, and once a fan, forever a fan.

I'm not sure if you're teasing, geeky guy, but in case you're not, for me quantity doesn't always equate with quality.

You win. Your "explosions" argument won me over. Besides, any movie with Sean Connery can't be all bad.

I read somewhere that Mina Harker was supposed to have gathered the guys. That would've been sexier.

And I'm pleased you liked the film, Geeky Guy. Although I didn't care all that much for it, there is still much in it to enjoy.

John,
Just in case you might think I would try to pull a fast one on you (practical joke). In all honesty, I have no clue who "geeky guy" is? My guess is, he has to be another one of those angry youngsters from Rotten Tomatoes.

Actually, Mr. Guy, although I didn't think "LXG" was a great film, I am a Sean Connery fan. I think I'll hang on to it.

if you keep harassing other people and keep using profanity, then you'll find yourself banned from dvd town, buddy.

Profanity can be bad. After I saw "Bad Santa" I haven't been able to stop cussing!

Well,
I have been visiting regularly dvdtown.com and its forums for more than a year and half , but I have never seen any bad language like this one. I deeply believe that this guy should be banned and this last post of his should be deleted. Is that possible posters5? I mean ,so far I have posted few lines here and there, but I haven???t seen such a foul language. DVDTown has always been very polite and decent site.
And for the decency of this site and stricly of hygienical purposes I propose that this ???geeky guy??? , should be banned. That is my opinion!
And I wonder posters5, if you let???s say, ban somebody, you ban only his account or you could do something and not permit him to activate other account of his computer?
Regards,
A.

Man, just saw this movie a few days ago and let me say this is one grea...
(hesitates)
...sorry, I just threw up in my mouth a little.
Wow, this movie had me bored to tears. Lots going on for no discernable purpose. It's a tragedy to take so many great literary characters and waste them on material like this.
I'd rank this with Ballistic: Ecks Vs. Sever. A mess of explosions with only the thinnest of plotting attached and some atrocious dialogue.
I hope this will nail the coffin on Stephen Norrington's career. Now if we could just do the same for Paul W.S. Anderson...
Sean (I know an undertaker who could make us a great deal...) ;)

Norrington didn't even show up to the movie's premiere.
I guess he's not all that dumb.
Movies don't get too much worse than this one. I'm still waiting to dole out my first "1" out of 10 rating. If I'd gotten LXG, I'd already have done it.

Connery basically refused to be directed by Norrington, so the director had to shut up when Connery was on the set. That kind of experience would get anyone to stay away from a premiere, lol.
