Lost: The Complete 3rd Season

I complete agree. Reading this review spoiled the entire show for me. Also I don't understand how this show can get a 10, if this show is better than Season 2 but not better than Season 1. Honestly I don't care about the rating but it just gives a wrong idea that this season was the best.

In my opinion this is at par with Season 2. This is a seaon with a big W -- meaning lot of valleys and peaks. Jack's character is one dimensional and I don't know why writers continue to show him as an idiot who never understands what other have to say. I have watched first 11 episodes, and I must say that all the episodes are disappointing with writers really don't know what they are doing. For instance in one episode writers spend good 10 minutes in getting a VW van started. And then we have a ping pong drama. I understand writers need to show some fun. The flashbacks are getting too frequent which is a bad thing. With 12 more episodes to go, I seriosuly hope that the show winds up well. I know for sure that I won't be watching season 4. So far, the story has progressed very little - the twists are becoming too predictable.

This show gets a solid 6 from me.

Watch the rest of the season. The last 12 episodes ramp up the drama considerably, and rescue the season from being the worst of the three. We learn more about the Others, and Ben in particular. Also, the reason for the VW bus episode becomes apparent.

BTW, I think the flashback episode with Desmond is one of the best ever Lost shows from any season.

Sorry... I was on the road (I am a computer guy for the Commonwealth of PA's museums and we have 'em all over the darn state) and posted my review right before leaving for two days.

I truly am sorry for my ignorance in putting the spoiler warnings. I guess there are actually people that don't watch LOST religiously.

However... for those claiming their experience was ruined... you got to show restraint... if you see two spoilers... don't keep reading!
