What sucks is that this is not a widescreen ONLY release!

Well at least my local Walmart WILL carry WS (other Walmarts do not)

Watch, or scene select, all the way to the end of the closing credits to see a preview of "Matrix: Revolutions." They presented it this way in the movie theatre and I'm happy to see they left it that way on the DVD.

To me, extremely disappointing.

If I want loud music and special effects, I'll hit the Pink Floyd Laser Light Show. At least no one there is trying to cram badly written Intro to Philosophy nonsense down my throat.

The Wachowskis took a promising premise, bloated it, and chased several rabbits down several holes when they weren't chasing their own tails.

Great visuals, great sound, bad movie. Talk about handing me feces and calling it candy.

Sean (anybody got a memory Wet-Wipe for me on this one?)

What sucks is that the Matrix sequels stank!

The fight with all the clones looked so damn cartoonish and dumb and the Architect is one of movie histories worst and boring moments.

on the contrary, i felt the Architect scene was good because it's so brainy and challenging. Plus, it probably introduced lots of new vocabulary to people. Always a plus! on the other hand, i can sort of get at where u're getting at. The scene was sorta anticlimactic because it's another talky scene grinding the movie to a halt when it should've been turbo boosting its momentum right to its last scene.

I don???t think the sequels stank, and in fact, I never smelled any bad odor emulating from them. However, they were disappointing from a fans point of view, and the third installment being the worst of the lot.

Well reloaded and revolutions were good movies but not good follow ups to The matrix i have them on dvd i love to watch them in a blue moon but it had dull points. The Architect was a bad scene but did give us information but the information stank really bad.

The Architect specifically shows how lost these fellows were when writing these sequels.

So many ideas and characters were introduced that were simply dropped that it proves how hackneyed these sequels are. Enough was alluded to in the first Matrix film, let alone the sequels, that got left in the dust (deja vus, anyone?) that it's amazing to me anyone greenlighted two more films to complete this incomplete trilogy. I understand not wanting to rehash the first, but introducing plot points that are simply dropped?

Oh, wait, money... Yeah, I forgot.

Sorry, kids, you can't write for crap and your script sucks REALLY bad, but it's gonna make us a bundle!

Sean (and trust me, it takes a crappy screenwriter to know one...)

I just went back and watched the whole trilogy this weekend... and had a blast. Yeah it's flawed but it's still a hell of a trip. I had fun, anyway.
