Miami Vice [Unrated Director's Edition]

I may be giving this film a 2nd shot. From what I hear the 7 minutes is a bit misleading. Rather than being 7 mins added on, a handful of scenes were alterred or completely cut out.

Yeah and in this unrated Directors cut the cover of "In The Air Tonight" plays over the final shoot out, as opposed to just over the end credits. Making it a bit more like the TV show.

it does? then how does the shootout feel with the song in it?

...it was the only high point in the film... the music worked quite well in the scene, enhancing it quite a bit... the film as a whole was such an unfocused mess of a thing... maybe the trailer tricked me into thinking i was going to see a drama thriller, instead i got a dry drama/romance film and about 10 minutes worth of action/thriller, which is why i disliked it so much... hands down the worst film of 2006, and i saw barnyard...
