This is a shame, yes the picture is in HD and they remixed the sound from dolby stereo to Dolby Digital Plus 5.1, but the trailers that were on the DVD are now gone, they could not even fit those on there! Now I understand why people are going for blu-ray. At least for every blu-ray there is at least one extra feature!

Were the trailers on the DVD for this movie or other movies? If they were for other movies, it's possible they were no longer current, and the studio didn't want to bother with them.

As for bonus items, the back reads:
"HDi Real-Time Interactivity: Instantly access bonus features, navigate through chapters and modify settings, all without interruption to the movie experience.
My Scenes: Bookmark your favorite scenes and create your own movie clips to enjoy at any time, back-to-back or one-by-one!"

Those are kinda bonus features, but the DVD version has the original three trailers. It is a shame that Universal cannot even port those over, and don't say that there wasn't enough space, I have seen warner bros port every single extra over on every DVD to HD-DVD transfer. I think universial might either be giving up on the format, or will re-release them with all the features to get people to buy it again.
