Sorry but I not agree with your review. The characters in Orphan were very believable on script and by way of the delivery of the actors.Everyone of them have their own take on whats happenning. And besides all that, The Orphanage was a dull piece of boring crap of the worst kind.A woman battling with a ghost? And kinda playing with a bunch of them? Now that is a no-way, C'MON GIVE ME A BREAK stuff!

You may be right, Carlos. All "The Orphanage" has going for it is suspense. "The Orphan," on the other hand, has people bashing each other's brains out with a hammer. Can't beat that.

John,

I'm not in full agreement with your review either. We had our "neighborhood screening" of the bd last night (this is getting to be a regular occurance around here...now people show up asking "what's playing"...maybe I'll start charging admission ) and everybody liked the film. Yes, it was predictable to a point but I thought the plot was well executed and the twist at the end was not expected. I agree with you about the video transfer; it was not spectacular to say the least, and the surround effects were minimal.

Steve,

I agree with you that "the twist at the end was not expected." It was so remarkably dumb, so incredibly outlandish, so laughably stupid, no one should have expected it.

John,
Dont keep talking about outlandish and dumb if you blindly buy the ghost games/fights/caressing of The Orphanage.Clearly you dont value credibility.
