Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl [2-Disc Collector's Edition]

Just don't figure on much of a plot? I guess that about crosses you off the list of "reviewers to pay attention to." This story did more for being consistent and filling in details and giving you tidbits early on that played out later in the film and not having twists that didn't make sense than anything Hollywood has cranked out in years. Great flick.

Glad you liked the film, cmbat. So did I, but apparently for different reasons.

he couldn't see past the similarities, john. ;)

As John said, it is too long for its own good. I couldn't sit through it in one session. Had to watch it on 2 successive nights. Story and action is all good but it just drags on for far too long when things could've been neatly tied up in 100 minutes or do.
