While I concur with John that this film is innocuous and bland, it also feels abbreviated, as though there is a complete story out there somewhere that the Disney animators simply did not have time to completely flesh out and put on the screen. This is a loose collaboration of scenes that feature the same characters without much of a through-narrative.
It is unfortunate that it does not hold to my memories as well as films like Lady and the Tramp or The Little Mermaid.
For people who are looking to introduce Robin Hood to their children, I highly recommend the Errol Flynn film. Not only is it a stellar film, the DVD is outstanding.
