Serenity [Two-Disc Collector's Editon]

Can't wait! This was a great ending to the tv series. If anyone hasn't already, go pickup Firefly: The Complete Series. It was really good, only thing that bugs me about it is the potential it had. Maybe if this dvd sells well enough they might think about a another.

Absolutely can't waite!!! This movie always deserved a better package for something that doesn't come along in Hollywood very often. This will be a "DVD Tuesday" that will be looked forward to.

I have to disagree with the review of the Collector's Edition in one area audio. The reviewer indicates that the audio track for this edition is the same as the previous release and for that reason (among others) is not worth the double-dip. It always annoys me when reviewers fail to adequately take into consideration the DTS option. The Collector's Edition has been upgraded to include a DTS 5.1 audio track which, in my opinion, is a vastly superior audio format. As with many reviewers here and on other sites, I suspect that the DTS track was not reviewed at all. Giving a score for audio quality without listening to all available audio tracks is like giving a score to the bonus features without watching them all. It is unfair and biased.

The Collector's Edition of Serenity includes a DTS 5.1 audio track. Anyone with DTS compatible equipment will readily agree that DTS is far superior to Dolby Digital. In my books, this counts as a significant improvement over the prior release and is worth the double dip, especially considering the film's exceptional sound and music.
