Brilliant movie, laughed my ass off

I took my father to this on a lark because we were near a theater and both wanted to see a movie, though he didn't want to see Ray, and we both came out enjoying the movie. He's not too good with accents, has trouble understanding people who don't speak clearly, and the dialect-differences made me worried that he wouldn't be able to understand what was going on, but he seemed to have fun. I'm certainly picking this up to add to my collection, and Tim's review makes me excited for the experience in the (dis)comfort of my own home!

For people planning to pick this up, on 1.25.05, Universal will release 2 pack set of Dawn of the dead Unrated and Shaun of the dead for $19.99. Looks like I will wait on this one!!

Well I just happened to do a search on CC for this title and it showed me 4 results.On Circuit City it is for $19.99, and Best Buy $24.99. Man with so many DVDs coming out in next couple of months, I think it is worth waiting on this title.

I don't think I laughed this hard at a movie since my first time watching Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Unlike the attrocious remake of Dawn of the Dead I absolutely loved this film. Not only did it come across as a great piece of social commentry (everyday life in london resembling that of a zombie state) it also provided enough laughs and spooky moments to have me leave the theatre thinking, yeah, that was a great movie. A great film and one which is definitely going in the collection.
