I believe the DVD version of the Simpsons has just Dolby Digital not DTS.

5.1 DTS is listed as an option on the box, and it's also an option (along with 5.1 Surround) on the language selection menu.

That movie was not nearly as good as the regular show.

I was very interested in watching this movie in theatres, and I missed...and I decided to see Transformers instead, what a great choice I made!
It's been a while since I sat down and actually watched a complete episode of the Simpsons (and yet, I own all available seasons on DVD), and I must say I was very dissappointed. Yes, you laugh, yes, it's epic, but in the end I felt empty, it's like 'eh?'.
I think that if you turn to see your watch or the time during a movie, the movie isn't entertaining you, which means, it's failing...I tried keeping myself concentrated during the movie, but once you see Homer screwing up yet again...sorry, I lost it. The show is good, this movie is not, a big letdown (no Pirates wasn't one either, it was Spider-man 3). And this release? L-A-M-E, how about some good extras? Commentaries aren't enough this days! Let's wait, and we might get something better 'next' time...
