I love Star Trek, I own all the dvd movies... well, the 1st releases anyways. Does it annoy anyone that Paramount is now going back and releasing special editions?? It ticks me off to no end because now I must spend more money for something that should have been released all together in the 1st place, they got the motion picture right, so who was behind the others? Ahhhhhhhh! I rate the movie an 8 because its one of the best, but do not award the last two because aside from the movie, theres nothing on it!

Hi, DrunkenMonkey, look for my review of the 2-disc special edition. I understand your frustration about having to buy 2 copies of the same movie, but Im happy that Paramount has developed a new attitude towards DVDs. My advice is, try to get rid of those single-disc editions that you have at WhereHouse Music or CD Warehouse before each 2-disc set appears. :-P
