Original Theatrical Version....
Aspect Ratio: 2.35:1
Anamorphic - Enhanced for Widescreen TVs.
Why do they mock me so? why could they not have just done this in the first place?

Money money money MO-NEY!
Seriously, by releasing the movies in every conceivable permutation, Lucas knows some fanboys can't resist.

Before anybody gets any ideas, this boxset has NOTHING NEW.
To my knowledge, these are re-releases of the "Limited Edition" DVDs. Don't look for remastered, anamorphic versions of the original theatrical versions. There are none here.
George Lucas is the devil.
Thank you. Drive through,
Will

Yeah... there's NEVER been any word that the original theatrical versions would be remastered anamorphically. So, expect the same previous special editions of the re-edited trilogy, just packaged together in a box set... yet another release, and no Blu-ray yet!

Technically, it's a repackaging, not a re-release...IMO...
