Sorry Dean but I'm confused and annoyed at your review.

You mention that this is an "anamorphic HD-DVD". Aren't all HD releases by their very nature anamorphic ?

Also, why is there NOT one mention of "STREETS OF FIRE" leading lasy DIANE LANE ?

I mean, come on... she is second billed (alongside PARE), she is the main plot device (it is HER being kidnapped that sets the movie in motion!), and she is probably then and now one of the biggest star names in the film (as well as all her screentime in all the musical numbers). I find it INCREDIBLE that you have not mentioned her name once (yet do mention cameos by Bill Paxton for instance).

I normally love your reviews but you have missed something in this one. Sorry, but any chance you could ammend as I find your oversight in not mentioning one of the key players in the film both odd and disrespectful.

Sorry to be negative.

Cheers buddy, Martin.

Who knows? My guess is that Dean's omission of Lane's name was a simple oversight. But I loved the review. It's filled with great background material, anecdotes, and insight. Whether I agree with a review has nothing to do with whether I think it's a good review or not.

It don't matter to me, I've never been much of a Diane Lane fan in the first place.
