Just one question... in DVD Details indicates that includes 2 audio tracks only in English (5.1 and DTS) as well as, English and French subtitles; but in other sites inform that also includes French and Spanish audio tracks, as well as Spanish subtitles... is this true?

genbar,

Sometimes our automated service for DVD details is incomplete. I won't know for sure until I have the disc in my hands, but Buena Vista's press site says the new edition has English in DD 5.1EX, DTS 5.1ES, DD 2.0 AND French and Spanish in DD 2.0, apparently the same as their 10th Anniversary Edition of "Toy Story" a few months ago.

Thanks John.

You have been of great help, since apparently Toy Story 10th Anniversary release in DVD Region 4, has one disc (not two) and lacks most of the good stuff included in the Region 1 release.

And if this wasn't enough, thanks to the greed of Disney to sell during the upcoming holidays, Toy Story 2 Special Edition will not be released in Region 4, since they re-released the old 1 disc bare-bone edition in Fullscreen... no doubt there're some folks to stuborn to learn from past mistakes.

Therefore, unless anybody could correct me, the best choice is to get the Region 1 releases of Toy Story 10th Anniversary and Toy Story 2 Special Edition.

Thanks again John.

I really like Toy 1 and it's one of my favorite animated movies ever, but I also agree that Toy 2 is better. Could you imagine if they had released this film straight to video as originally planned? What a disgrace that would have been if they had gone that route from the start. Luckily everyone involved must have known they had a great story on their hands and made this a full blown feature.
