this movie didn't make any since! i don't understand the story line at all, it was all over the place. Couldn't tell who was who in the movie, and one thing that made me laugh was how the government covered up the transformer being on earth, lol.. Cause in the 1st movie i remember a huge battle scene right in the middle of a huge city!

See, the first hour is about resurrecting Megatron for no apparent reason...then the Decepticons form plan #2 and go after the thingy in the pyramid.
The end battle in #1 was in Los Angeles, IIRC. And the opening battle of this one was Shanghai...a rather populated city.
RotF was garbage, pure and simple.

IMO it's really sad that people find this garbage worthy of buying movie tickets, and eventually DVD and BD discs; i'm not against action movies with elaborate GCI and visual effects, but it's too much to ask for a decent story? after all it's the pillarstone that supports a film.
Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I really miss the time when people went to see a film, because it had actually a good story, that maybe relied on visual and special effects to tell that story, but it had a good story worth sitting throw it for 2 hours.
Yet here we have a guy named Michael Bay, the embodyment of all style, no substance, in colaboration with Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman, which are among the worst screenwriters in Hollywood, all which got paid to film and write this comercial rubbish, while other directors and writers struggle to get a break in Hollywood.
Indeed it's all their fault that RotF is garbage, but it's more our fault because we're paying for it. I suppose we're still living in roman times, when people are happy as long they get their dose of bread and circuses.
