The review was just about right. 2 things though. Small mistake on sound. If you cannot get DolbyTrueHD than you cannot get Dolby Plus. Both are the higher sound formats that require connections with multi-channel out (higher end toshiba HD only) or HDMI with a 1.3 HDAudio capable receiver (Denon 2808,3808) Pioneer elite 92/94 etc. And again the player must be the higher end a35, XA2 if you want higher end sound through HDMI.

If you don't have any of the above you just have Dolby Digital not Dolby Plus. And there's nothing wrong with Dolby Plus. Transformers has the best sound of ANY HDDVD movie and it's Dolby Plus. 2nd, If you have a front projector, the edge enhancement is not an issue. I spent the first 40 minutes of the film on my 11' screen trying to see anything out of the ordinary with the over edge enhancement and couldn't see a thing, that may not be the case with a flat panel or crt, but it's perfect (like the city in tremors Perfection) on my front projo. Movie is worthy to own for demo purposes and just plain fun. I would rank this as a must have for anyones collection. In my case it's a "10" in video. 9.5 in sound.

Great release! The TrueHD track played through the entire film without any problems. Also, the picture looks pretty great too, with the VC-1 encoding.

Also comes with the original Signature Collection Laserdisc special features, including the full-length documentary! Awesome. Edition.
