V for Vendetta

Although I find the graphic novel better, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the movie. I give much of the honors to Mr. Weaving:)

A great graphic novel to film adaptation. Hugo Weaving is brilliant and you never see his face! Natalie Portman in one of her best all around roles. The film is full of relevant and interesting social commentary. Definitely not your typical action movie, which is what sets this film apart and elevates it to must watch/own status. HD transfer is absolutely gorgeous. The SNL rap starring Portman is hilarious and requires multiple viewings.
