Youth without Youth

I just missed this in theaters, and despite the bad things I've heard about it, I'm still curious. (And rather the Alexandra Maria Lara fan..)

It's not good, but I didn't think it was nearly as bad as its Rotten Tomato rating would suggest. It held my interest for the first two-thirds of the film before going off the rails. There aren't too many movies you can describe as Proustian science-fiction I guess Slaughterhouse Five would qualify too.

I actually thought this movie was pretty funny. I can't find anyone else who agrees with me that it was MEANT to be funny, but I thought it was. If you like your sex scenes mixed with Nazi fetish, check this one out.

Well that sounds...different. In any case, I'll be sure to let you know if I thought it was funny, or any good, when I finally get around to seeing it.
