Synopsis:

There's a time for playing it safe... and a time for RISKY BUSINESS.

Meet Joel Goodson - industrious, college-bound 17-year-old. And a responsible, trustworthy son. But he's been good for too long. Joel's parents are away and he's in charge of the house. They trust him. Maybe they shouldn't.

Risky Business is a racy suburban comedy about a party-loving high school senior (in the Chicago area) who is living the high life while his parents are out of town. Joel (Tom Cruise), frustrated with his burgeoning sexuality, acquires the nerve to reach out to the opposite sex - by having a 'risky' encounter with Lana, a beautiful prostitute (Rebecca DeMornay) who provides him an education in relationships, both sexual, and big city excitement (her antagonizing pimp).

But then there's a major mishap with his father's Porsche, which requires some quick cash to cover the cost of repairs. The enterprising Joel (along with his new girlfriend Lana) himself turns pimp and has a fundraising party for his slavering high school male chums (accompanied by Lana's escort service gal pals). But things get a little complicated when business booms and Joel receives an unexpected visit from a college recruiter.. on the night of the 'FUNdraising' party!
