Amazon.com has a new promotion that offers you two free Blu-ray movies with new player.

Get any two eligible Blu-ray discs free when you purchase this Samsung BD-P1500 1080p Blu-ray Player from Amazon.com. Simply add the player and the two discs to your cart, and the discount will be deducted at checkout. Offer ends October 25.

The current price of the player is currently $214.99 and with titles like "Batman Begins" and "L.A. Confidential" it is a decent offer for sure.

If you missed my other post....Stay away from this player. It has the worst display ever. You have to get real close to even see what it says. That is unacceptable.

But even worse, this thing gets real hot on the bottom. I'm afraid of burning my cabinet or any piece of equipment under it. There are no fans whatsoever on this machine. The other BD players seem to have fans from what I've seen thus far. They need them.

Amazon needs to have one of those buy-one-get-one-free sales like back in the day.

I totaly agree Falcon. I'd scoop up quite a few Blu Rays if they did a deal like that.

Have you never felt the bottom of your player? You are telling me it doesn't burn hot? And you can read the display without going right up to it? I would think it was just mine if I hadn't found so many forums with people talking about the heat.

Wolvi, on some DVD players there is usually a button or setting where you can adjust the BRIGHTNESS on the display screen of the player. By default some players come with the brightness on the display screen set to low so that when you are watching movies with the lights off you don't have this bright display screen distracting you.

Check your remote and/or check players settings as there may be an adjustment for it.
