Warner Bros. will release "August Rush" on DVD, HD DVD and Blu-ray.
Only extras is additional scenes.
The DVD and Blu-ray edtion will be released on March 11th. HD DVD will follow on April 1st.
Synopsis:
A charismatic young Irish guitarist (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) and a sheltered young cellist (Keri Russell) have a chance encounter one magical night above New York's Washington Square, but are soon torn apart, leaving in their wake an infant, orphaned by circumstance.
Years later, performing on the streets of New York and cared for by a mysterious stranger (Robin Williams) who gives him the name August Rush, the child (Freddie Highmore) uses his remarkable musical talent to seek the parents from whom he was separated at birth.

People are not really buying HD-DVD's anymore, are they? I think we've all learned our lesson after Toshiba suckered us into the now-defunked format with their Fire-Sale a few month ago. I have too much faith in America to fall for the same trick twice.
I hear it's a Great Movie though. I'll buy it on Blu-ray for sure.
