Officially they have supported the format from the get go but not in any products so far.
Rumors say that version 10.5.6 of their operating system Mac OS X could change that with official support for Blu-ray drives and playback. Details are still very limited and not officially confirmed. However, it is believed that the first computer to get an actual drive will be their Mac Pro towers and not any of their more known consumer product lines like the iMac.
The Mac OS X OS is currently in version 10.5.4 and with 10.5.5 already in BETA 10.5.6 should be released this fall and or late 2008.
