Synopsis:
Led by an amazing performance of Emmy-nominated actor Michael C. Hall(Six Feet Under), Dexter is one of the most critically acclaimed, must-see television shows of the year! Haven't finished this one, but the few episodes I've seen on my DVDs, the PQ disappoint...

My dvd of S1 looks pretty good on my ps3. What are you using to upscale?

I was also impressed with the PQ of the DVDs on my Panasonic BD player. It wasn't much difference than the HD broadcasts on satellite. Some of the colors seem more orangey, but I think that's intended.

To be fair, I was watching it on an old 32" Sony TV...I'll give them another try, haven't seen an episode in months...after all, after you watch Deadwood, nothing is good enough again...

The character development, and great casting of Deadwood, has yet to be equaled by another cable show...Dexter has great stories, but is not as complex as Deadwood...
Anyways, watched an episode yesterday, and the PQ is a defficient 3/5...it's very soft, it lacks detail.

Well, I guess that after you watch a few hours on HD, SD content is disappointing...
