The most successful independent motion picture of all time!
On October 14 Michael Myers is back with more nightmarish gore when Starz/Anchor Bay presents the HALLOWEEN: 30th Anniversary Commemorative Box Set, a collection of 5 DVDs, 1 Blu-ray, and a replica of Michael Myers' horrifying terror mask.
Available at a suggested retail price of $89.97, the package features all of the 'Halloween' content that Anchor Bay owns the rights to, and now offers a re-release of the rare Halloween "extended version" (which has been out-of-print for several years).
The 556-minute, 6-disc 30th Anniversary Commemorative Box Set features the following content:
Halloween (Theatrical version)
Halloween (Extended version!)
Halloween 4: The Return Of Michael Myers
Halloween 5: The Revenge Of Michael Myers
Halloween: 25 Years Of Terror (extensive documentary)
Halloween (Blu-ray™ High-Def version)
Packaged with the discs is a replica terror mask like the one Michael Myers used for his Halloween carnage (as seen in the various movies).
At this time, we do not know of any additional bonus features in the set, but will update our database if more info becomes available. View the Cover Art (link below) to see more images of the replica mask.
Synopsis (for the 1st film):
...The Night HE Came Home!
On a black and unholy Halloween night years ago, little Michael Myers brutally slaughtered his sister in cold blood. But for the last fifteen years, town residents have rested easy, knowing that he was safely locked away in a mental hospital... until tonight.
Tonight, Michael returns to the same quiet neighborhood to relive his grisly murder again... and again... and again. For this is a night of evil.
Tonight is Halloween - let's celebrate the horror!

It is kind of strange that they were just like "Well... Lets just toss the new Halloween Blu-Ray in there with all those DVDs!"

What a waist of time and money. Please stop re-releasing these movies on DVD and get with the times. Release these on Blu-Ray. This is like the third or fourth release of these movies. There is nothing new in this set. And the mask is just a horrible version of Michael Myers. Just awful!
