Today Shout! Factory released a DVD that will make Baby Boomers relive their childhoods. "HIYA KIDS!! A '50s Saturday Morning" includes four DVDs featuring 21 episodes from some of the most iconic TV classics from the crewcut era: "Kukla, Fran and Ollie," "Howdy Doody," "Lassie," "Annie Oakley," "Flash Gordon," "Time for Beany," "The Paul Winchell Show," "The Roy Rogers Show," "Captain Z-RO," "The Rootie Kazootie Club," "Winky Dink and You," "Super Circus," "Andy's Gang," "The Cisco Kid," "Sky King," "The Magic Clown," "Kids and Company," "Juvenile Jury," "The Pinky Lee Show," and "Sheena, Queen of the Jungle." What, no "Jungle Jim" or "Bomba, the Jungle Boy"? Never mind. This cross-section of '50s culture was culled from shows that had a wide appeal then, and will probably still provide some warm fuzzies and a few laughs for Boomers and their families now.
