Paramount recently released "Iron Man" on Blu-ray with strong sales to follow.
It is the top Blu-ray format debut to date at Best Buy and other retailers and an average of about 20% of Iron Man´s total unit sales are Blu.
Newbury´s 28-store chain said that it performed twice as good on the format compared to other Blu-ray releases.
Amazon.com also reported strong sales with the Blu-ray version ranking no. 1 in on their combined DVD and Blu-ray charts. "Amazon.com has had other Blu-ray movies highly ranked, but we have never before seen a Blu-ray title dominate the top seller rankings for an extended period like Iron Man," said Amazon.com spokeswoman Tammy Hovey.

It's also one of the best Blu-rays PERIOD. Great movie, great PQ, FANTASTIC AQ, and a boatload of bonus material. I'm loving my SteelBook Edition.
It will most likely be dethroned by "The Dark Knight," though...

Yes, but batpod or not, having Batman's mask is not as cool as having Iron Man's mask as your DVD case (or in many of our case, blu-ray)...

Agreed! I was watching it last night and the PQ literally is one of the best I've seen on Brooo-ray.

Iron Man's mask is perfectly round (sort of), and Batman's mask is awkwardly pointy...
...you wouldn't really appreciate the way the mask was designed at a smaller scale...
Wait, why didn't they do this for the V for Vendetta release??

Now, that would be kinda scary...
